INGREDIENTS: Cinnamon, Allspice, Ginger, Cloves, Nutmeg.
Cinnamon (30g / 1oz): Cinnamon is a traditional seasoning in many Middle Eastern and Asian dishes. Preferred over other varieties of spices to flavor curries, pastries and meats because of its milder but sweeter taste.
Allspice (30g / 1oz): Powdered allspice is a key ingredient in seasoning. Add to stews, meat marinades, pickling seasoning, cakes, cookies and other baked goods.
Ginger (30g / 1oz): Ginger root powder provides the pungent spice of the fresh root, but is slightly milder. Try sprinkling a small amount over hot noodles or stir into soups, stews and vegetable dishes. In addition to cooking, the ground root may be encapsulated as a dietary supplement.
Cloves ground (30g / 1oz): Sweet with a slightly bitter note. Blends with ginger, cinnamon, cardamom and other warm spices. Add to quick breads, muffins, baked fruit, pies, custards and puddings.
Nutmeg (30g / 1oz): Ground nutmeg offers an easy way to dispense the spice into foods and beverages. In addition to being a popular spice in Middle Eastern cuisine, nutmeg pairs especially well with potato, spinach, pasta, cheese, sausage, ground beef, pumpkin and hot cereals.
